It Happened in July

Let's take a look at the days of July and share the dates. We will see this sort of lay out on the first of every month. I will use two children for the Relationship calculator. I have chosen Kelsie, daughter of Vincent, who is the son of Shirley, who is the daughter of Lloyd, who is a son of Nina, who is a daughter of Thorinus Mellem. On the Rye side, Kelsie is, of course, daughter of Shirley, who is the daughter of Ella, who is the daughter of Henry Thomas Rye. I have chosen Kelsie because of her interest in her family history.

On the other side of the family, I have chosen Jaeme Lynn Thomae, daughter of Rachel Anderson, who's mother is Elodee and who's father is Robert D. Anderson, son of Lloyd Anderson who's mother is Nina Mellem and who's family is Rev. Olaf Anderson. Other ancestors on that side of the family are Rye and Olson.

Jaeme also has Ranum, Opseth, Lundberg, Jensen.

8 Pat and Pat Ranum of Oregon, son of Otto Ranum, half brother of Benhard Ranum celebrate their 46Th wedding anniversary. Jaeme and Pat are 1st half cousins once removed

13 James Ranum, son of Harry, son of Benhard Ranum is 62. Jim and Jane live in Minneapolis.
Jaeme and Jim are 1st cousins, twice removed

13 Atropa Rye, wife of Ralph Rye, son of Henry and Julia Rye celebrates her birthday, she lives in Kansas. Kelsie is Atropa's great grand niece of Atropa's husband, Ralph.

22 Harry and Lillian Ranum were married on this day 68 years ago. Jaeme is the great grand niece of Harry.

22 Reta and Robert Chamberlain were married on this date 33 years ago. Reta is the second daughter of Ralph Rye, youngest son of Julia and Henry Rye. Kelsie is Reta's 1st cousin, twice removed.

23 Rolland and Enid Sande were married on this day, it would have been their 60th. Enid is the daughter of Emil Mellem, son of Thorinus and Pauline Mellem. Enid is Kelsie's first cousin, three times removed.

23 Nanette (Teri) Rye, wife of Lawrence Henry Rye turns 50, Lawrence is the son of Ralph Rye. Teri and Hank live in Kansas. Hank and Kelsie are first cousins, twice removed.

23 Alice Steinhauer, daughter of Henry and Julia Rye would have been 95. Kelsie is the great grand niece of Alice.

25 Bruce Ranum would have been 66 on this day. Bruce and Jaeme are 1st cousins, twice removed.

29 Nina Mellem Anderson Bloom was born 116 years ago today. Kelsie is the Second great grand daughter to Nina Mellem Anderson Bloom.

29 Ralph Ageson was born on this day. He was married to Linda Rye, daughter of Cliff and Mel Rye. Cliff is the son of Julia and Henry Rye. Kelsie is the first cousin twice removed from the wife of Ralph who is Linda Rye Ageson

30 Bootsy Lundberg is Jaeme's great grand uncle

31 Stanley K Ranum, son of Benhard and Julia Ranum was born 93 years ago in Rosewood. The birth register at Marshall County has his name as Kenneth and Stanley was added later. Jaeme's great grandfather on the Ranum side is Stanley Ranum.

31 Mildred Ostgaard, daughter of Cora and Severt Ostgaard was born 96 years ago. Cora is the sister of Benhard Ranum and the daughter of Knute and Siri Ranum. Mildred lived in St. Paul, Minnesota. Mildred is Jaeme's first cousin, three times removed.
