Christmas Photo Cards; What Do They Look Like NOW?
This is Larry Gene, who was three in yesterday's picture. He is featured with his Grand mother, Ella, and his two children, Bobbie Jo, (now 25) and Josh who is now 20.
This is a picture of Susan (Susi) and her children. We have nothing newer to share. Her children at Jesse, Jeremy, and Kaitlin.
This picture was taken of Carl on his 88th birthday. It is a 1979 photograph. He is pictured with his grand child, Shirley and his great grand children.
In the back is Shirley, then 28 and now 56.
Lisa, then 12 and now 40.

The picture of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bloom posted yesterday was taken in 1960. Nina died in November of 1963.
Carl lived as a widower for 24 years. He died at 93, (1984).
Lloyd was 51 at the time the picture was taken; he died at 56, (1967).
Ella was 47 at the time of the picture; she is a resident at Thief River Care Center. She is 92.
Susan Marie was under one year old; she lives in Arizona and is 45.
Gene was three; he lives in the Kansas City area and turned 48 last fall.
Rachel was one in the picture; she lives in Utah and is now, do I dare say? 41.
In today's world, we have cameras with delayed timers and tripods to set the camera on to take group pictures. We don't have group pictures with father missing or mother missing! Everyone is there! My children used to wonder if I was really on that vacation because I wasn't in the pictures, I was taking the pictures.
I have an on line bud in the east who was a professional photographer. He sent me a portrait of his family taken in 1947. He was married and had several children. He told me that he hooked up a long cable to his studio camera and when everyone was ready he plunged down on the cable to capture the image. When Paul told me that, I wished for group photographs and hoped some day I would have something like that!
GOOOOOOOOOO digital!!! We hope for a family gathering picture this year during the Christmas season. Yet, what I really hope for is a picture of a child in the center of the floor drowning in paper and squealing as she opens gifts!
Cammmmmmmmmmmmmera.........ACTION!~
