Fishing 106

.................After hours of studying, we drove to the Warrior Boat Factory at Maple Lake near Minneapolis in February. With modifications, a fiberglass boat would work. A casting deck needed to be built into the boat for muskie fishing. The boat would make its maiden voyage on walleye opener of 1999. On July 4, a straight wind of 100 mph came through the area and all the boats in the harbor had damage. Although I was promised safety on the water, there was no way to promise that hiding in the bathroom of a trailer house was going to be a safe haven in the storm. One lady was in her trailer when the trees fell on it. It was a fourth of July 'fireworks' none of us would forget. We were lucky, the Warrior would have only cosmetic damage and would be fixed in the fall....................
